1. The software
An Stats is a desktop application for tagging and analysing Gaelic games matches from video (or live on match day), producing statistics, reports and clips as described on this website at the time of purchase.
2. The licence
The annual licence covers one organisation — a club, school or county setup — for twelve months from purchase, on Windows. It covers every team in that organisation, all codes, unlimited matches, installation on machines the organisation's coaches and analysts use, and all updates released during the licence year. The licence may not be resold, sublicensed or shared beyond the purchasing organisation, and may not be used to provide analysis to other organisations as a service.
3. Your footage and data
The software processes footage locally on your machine. You are responsible for ensuring you are entitled to use the footage you open and to record the player information you enter. Everything the software produces from your footage — events, statistics, exports and reports — is yours to use within your organisation without restriction, though it may not be resold or provided to third parties as a service.
4. Renewals and expiry
The licence does not renew automatically. When it expires your data remains on your machine in a standard SQLite database, and previously exported reports, clips and CSV files remain yours. Renewal covers continued use of updates and support.
5. Refunds and right of withdrawal
If the software does not work on your system and we cannot resolve it, we refund the licence in full within 30 days of purchase.
Your licence key is delivered by email, normally within 24 hours of purchase. If you buy as a consumer, you have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. By completing checkout you consent to delivery of the licence key beginning before that 14-day period ends, and acknowledge that once the key has been delivered with that consent, the statutory withdrawal right no longer applies to the digital content, as permitted by the European Union (Consumer Rights) Regulations. Our 30-day refund promise above applies regardless. Statutory consumer rights are otherwise unaffected.
6. Accuracy
Statistics and models (including expected points) are derived from the events you tag and are intended for coaching and performance purposes; they are not certified measurements.
7. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and go directly to Stripe — we never see or store them. Licences can also be invoiced to a club, school or board directly by email on request. Prices are as stated on this website or in your invoice and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
8. Intellectual property
The software, its models and its report designs remain the property of An Stats. Your match data and footage remain yours. The software includes third-party components under their own licences, listed in the THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt file installed with it.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with a licence is limited to the amount paid for that licence. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
11. Affiliation
An Stats is independent software, supplied by A Healy trading as An Stats. It is not a GAA product, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Gaelic Athletic Association or any other sporting body. "GAA", "Gaelic Athletic Association" and the names of any clubs or counties are used here only to describe what the software is for.
12. Who we are
