An Stats

Privacy policy

Last updated — 18 July 2026

The short version

An Stats is a desktop application that runs entirely on your own computer. Your footage, events and reports are stored locally and are never uploaded to us. If you choose to connect Google Drive sync, exports upload directly from your machine to your own Google account — we are not involved in that transfer and cannot see the files. The only personal data we handle is what you provide when buying a licence or contacting us; card payments are handled by Stripe and we never see card details. This website sets no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies.

Who we are

An Stats is the business name of A Healy, Co. Louth, Ireland (registration with the Companies Registration Office in progress), providing match-analysis software for Gaelic games. You can contact us at info@anstats.com.

What we process

What we never process

Google Drive sync

Drive sync is optional and off until you connect it. When connected, exported reports, clips and database backups upload directly from your computer to a folder in your own Google Drive, using Google's drive.file permission — the application can only see and manage files it created itself, not the rest of your Drive. The transfer happens between your machine and Google; we do not operate a server in between and cannot access the files. Disconnecting sync in the app stops all uploads, and you can revoke the app's access at any time from your Google account settings. Google's own privacy policy applies to data stored in your Drive.

Player data you record

Rosters, player statistics and match events you enter are stored only on your machine (and, if you enable sync, in your own Google Drive). As the person recording them, your organisation is responsible for that data under its own obligations; we have no access to it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and you may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Write to info@anstats.com and we will act promptly.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies and runs no third-party analytics. When you pay by card you are taken to a checkout page hosted by Stripe, which sets its own cookies for payment processing and fraud prevention — see Stripe's privacy policy for details.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date above will be updated and active licence holders will be notified by email.
